SGU SAS Honors Excellence at Annual Awards Ceremony

The spirit of achievement lit up Bourne Lecture Hall on April 16 as St. George’s University’s School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) hosted its third annual SAS Awards Ceremony. With the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Recognizing Excellence and Leadership,” the event spotlighted students, faculty, and staff for their stellar academic performance, leadership, and unwavering dedication.

More than 20 awards, including new honors like the SAS Student Choice Award and the Faculty Research – Excellence in Mentorship Award were presented to individuals who’ve gone above and beyond in shaping a vibrant academic community.

“This ceremony is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when passion meets purpose,” said Dr. Lucy Eugene, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. “We’re not just celebrating accomplishments, we’re celebrating the heart and soul of SAS, and that is students’, staff’s, and faculty’s excellence, service, and the drive to lead.”

Launched in 2023, the SAS Awards continue to grow, shining a light on those who truly embody the values that define the SGU experience.
