This course focuses on understanding the nurse’s role as a leader and manager in the healthcare organization. Emphasis is placed on the role of the staff nurse and first-line manager in developing leadership skills through client care, team leadership, and collaborative efforts with other health care professionals. This course focuses on leadership in ward management.
