Dr. Wayne Sylvester is Director of the Small Animal Clinic and Assistant Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine. His research interests include: zoonoses, tick borne infections, and parasitic diseases. He is currently the faculty advisor for the Feral Cat Project, Veterinary Public Health Committee, and World Rabies Day.
Dr. Sylvester earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics Degree with Honors from the University of Camaguey in 2004 and completed a Master of Science degree in Animal Product Processing, Entrepreneurship and Safety from St. George’s University in 2014. Currently, Dr. Sylvester is pursuing a PhD in Veterinary Parasitology also at SGU.
