Julieta Mallea, DVM
Assistant Professor
I received my Veterinary degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina, in 2022. My journey in veterinary medicine began in 2006 when I completed an Anesthesia Internship in Small Animals at UBA. Currently, I am pursuing advanced studies in High-Level Teaching in Biological Livestock and Biological Science: University Teaching at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, UBA.
Since 2007, I have served as the Lead Anesthesiologist at Hospital Escuela (Small Animal Hospital), where I have honed my skills and expertise in veterinary anesthesia. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I hold the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Analgesia at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences in Buenos Aires. In this role, I actively participate in the education and training of students, serving as an instructor, supervisor, and mentor for interns.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous research projects within my field. As a complement to my academic activities, I have developed my expertise as an anesthesiologist in private practice at prominent clinics in Buenos Aires.
