Dr. Christine Fernandez is an Associate Professor of Emergency Critical Care and the Medical Director of the Elisabeth McClellan Small Animal Clinic at St. George’s University. She is board certified in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care.
Dr. Fernandez is a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society and an active member of other veterinary organizations. She is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom, and is a published author in three scientific journals on topics related to infectious disease, emergency medicine, and oncology.
Dr. Fernandez received her DVM at St. George’s University in 2007, and completed her ECC Residency at Four Seasons Animal Hospital and her Diplomat American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care in 2013. She also holds a BS in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
