Learn Why St. George’s University Is Right For You
Academic Success
Great support is the foundation of our students’ academic success. St. George’s University students who took the USMLE 1 for the first time achieved a 90 percent pass rate, which is on par with the pass rate for students from US and Canadian schools.*
*Total results from the five calendar years 2018-2022. First-time pass rate is defined as the number of US citizens/permanent residents or Canadian students passing USMLE Step 1 on their first attempt divided by the total number of US or Canadian students taking USMLE Step 1 for the first time within the given time range. In order to be certified to take USMLE Step 1, students are required to pass all basic sciences courses.
