NURS 300 Adult Health Nursing I
This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to care for adult clients and their families along the health and illness continuum. The course will be presented using mainly a system-based approach with a focus on respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and urinary systems. This course will also emphasize concepts relating to the care of adults in the hospital setting with commonly occurring medical-surgical problems. The nursing process, health education, nursing considerations, nursing interventions, diagnostic tests, and community resources (referrals) will be examined for each disease condition.
