The 6-year preveterinary entry point into our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program begins with intensive preveterinary coursework in organic chemistry and physics to prepare before entering the traditional, four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program.
This program is designed for students who want to prepare for a career in veterinary medicine and who have completed some undergraduate-level coursework or who have passed a matriculation examination with high marks in science.
Program Entry Requirements
- A matriculation examination, such as the South African or Australian examination (or its equivalent), with strong science grades.
Or
- Minimum of 30 university/college undergraduate-level credits that include some science foundation courses.
