ANPH 522 Ethics in Veterinary Practice

This course give a grounding in the ethical principles of veterinary medicine reflected within the nature of the patient and society. By building conceptual ideas of the nature of all parties, informed consent can be obtained to ensure the welfare of animals committed to the care of the veterinary team.
Going beyond clinical aspects, the owner and society is best served within a business relationship for the common good. Students learn how to address business concepts and justice in the workplace with an understanding that there can be something more important than money.
